Youth Village Mentoring Program
Description:
Utah Youth Village is looking for volunteers to mentor youth in the Salt Lake City area. Each volunteer commits to meet with their assigned youth for at least one hour each week for six months, although you can mentor longer. As a mentor, you will help empower youth in the community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their potential. This is a fun and meaningful way to gain experience and service hours. It also looks great on resumes!

You will be provided with orientation training, in-service training, and ongoing training and support. Volunteers are required to pass a criminal background check, paid by Utah Youth Village. Mentors will be required to attend an 8 hour pre-service training and a monthly meeting with Anilu Gamez, the Mentor Supervisor.
