U-FIT University of Utah
Description:
U-FIT is a special physical activity program for children with disabilities ages 3 through 18, their siblings, and their parents. Each semester approximately 140 children with a variety of disabilities participate on Friday nights and work 1:1 with university students in either swimming, dance, art, or physical activities in the gym. Parents can use this time as respite or can stay and socialize with other parents, take part in informational workshops, or exercise in a parent fitness program. The fitness classes provided include spin, zumba, and hip hop.

Website: U-FIT - U of U College of Health | College of Health (utah.edu)
