Spectrum Academy - Salt Lake

Spectrum Academy is the first charter school in Utah to focus primarily on the unique learning needs of children with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Through small class sizes, individualized instruction and an innovative social skills curriculum, we help students reach their fullest potential academically, socially and emotionally, so they may enjoy productive and successful futures.<br /><br />Volunteers will tutor the kids in their homework assignments as well as class assignments such as helping them out in gym activities. Volunteers can served as a teacher assistants helping the teachers maintain control of the classrooms by helping the kids focus on their school assignments.
