
Moss Elementary Afterschool Programming
Description:
Serving 1st through 5th-grade youth who attend James E. Moss Elementary in Millcreek. This program focuses on interest-based clubs, hosting daily classes such as judo, Girl Scouts, art, chess, Girls on the Run, science, choir, school play, and so much more.<br /><br />Each day includes snack and dinner services, homework help or tutoring, enrichment activities which include; model prevention programming, art, STEM, recreation, service learning, and college and career prep. As a Volunteer, You Will-
You will work directly with the refugee students on homework tutoring, mentoring a student, or assisting in the Early Learning program. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday-Thursday from 4-7pm elementary-aged children and teens.
