Intermountains non-profit hospitals and clinics are operated for the benefit of the community, not to maximize profit or benefit shareholders. As a result, Intermountain is able to provide charity care to qualifying patients.<br /><br />A variety of volunteer opportunities are available including service in the emergency department, surgery waiting areas, gift shop and more. There are several opportunities for adults as well as a Junior Volunteer Program for those under 18.
