English Skills Learning Center

The English Skills Learning Center (ESL Center) strives to connect communities through language learning, integration, security and empowerment to adult refugees &amp; immigrants in Salt Lake County. Our focus is to provide participants with the tools necessary to improve their quality of life in the United States and create a bridge out of poverty. The ESL Center provides specialized, FREE English &amp; skill- based classes to adult language learners to help elevate their lives. Classes are taught by highly trained volunteers under the supervision of the ESL Center's professional staff and are held in locations that are convenient for students.<br /><br />Volunteers are the vehicle through which our organization delivers our service and they are our most valuable asset. Our volunteers may work in any of our many ESL programs, and we could always use help with other projects as well. We provide volunteer trainings for all of our volunteers, which are held several times throughout the year.
