English Language Center of Cache Valley
Description:
ELC's program involves six levels of English ranging from Beginning to Advanced. ELC also offers U.S. Citizenship Preparation, and Workplace Literacy. Students learn at a level-appropriate pace and are given lots of opportunities to practice their reading, writing, grammar, and even conversation. Students also learn valuable life skills in an English-speaking community, such as banking, shopping, finding jobs and using healthcare.<br /><br />ELC students learn more efficiently and effectively when they receive one-on-one attention and assistance - volunteers help to provide that opportunity to as many students as possible. Volunteers mostly work as student tutors and teacher aides. As a Volunteer, You Will-
