CCS Basic Needs Salt Lake assist individuals experiencing homelessness with basic needs. 2,000 meals per day are prepared and distributed from St Vincent's Dining Hall. The Dining Hall serves 600 of these meals to those on campus. Volunteers are needed Monday through Sunday to assist in preparing the meals, clean and help organize the kitchen, warehouse, and dining hall.<br />Website: <a href="http://www.ccsutah.org/volunteer">www.ccsutah.org/volunteer</a>

As a Volunteer, You Will-

CCS provides volunteer opportunities throughout their many programs and services. Volunteers are needed Monday through Sunday to serve meals at St. Vincent de Paul dining facility in Salt Lake City, clean and help organize the kitchen, warehouse and dining room. Those 18 or older may volunteer as a mentor/tutor for CCS Refugee Resettlement Program families or youth, teach English as a second language, tutor academics and American culture to refugee youth or host a kitchen shower for refugee families or baby shower for new mothers. Volunteers for the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank in Ogden may be utilized in the food bank to help with distribution, sort and/or organize food in the warehouse and organize donation drives. Host a baby shower for the St. Martha Layette Program in Ogden. Office volunteers needed to assist in all departments & programs at CCS. Volunteers make it happen!!
