(Assisteens)- Uplift Community Alliance

Assisteens of Salt Lake City, a volunteer teen service group open to grades 7-12, is an auxiliary of Assistance League of Salt Lake City.<br /><br />Assisteens supports many of the philanthropic programs carried out by Assistance League, but also selects and completes their own service projects within the community such as:<br /><br />Hosting a holiday party with preschoolers at the Boys and Girls Club<br />Assembling Thanksgiving dinner boxes for those transitioning out of homelessness<br />Spending time with residents at a senior center<br />Providing needed supplies for Head Start preschoolers<br />Assembling over 85 bunny baskets for children at a transitional housing center<br /><br />Website: <a href="https://www.ulcautah.org/assisteens">https://alslc.org/assisteens</a>
