TEAM LEADERS
TEAM LEADERS
Team leaders are the adult leaders on the team. All TL’s go through an application process to make sure they can hold the responsibility of managing the team. Throughout the year the Team Leaders will go through quarterly trainings to help prepare them for their international trip. They will work alongside assistant team leaders to ensure that humanitarians are completing service hours and turning in forms. Team leaders will work with the leadership team (ATL, mentors, and alum leaders) to make sure that all committee projects are being planned for in country. Team leaders facilitate team meetings and communication with participants and parents. While in-country team leaders will ensure all safety measures. They will facilitate the team schedule to complete projects and keep track of team finances.
LEAD
Team Leaders will plan and facilitate all team meetings.
ENSURE SAFETY
Team leaders and mentors will ensure the safety of all participants.
COMMUNICATION
Team leaders will make sure that parents and participants have all fo the necessary information.

Requirements
- Has been a Service Year Mentor in the last 3 years
- Must reside in Utah during the entire service year
- Must be competent in all common computer software
- Must be able to understand and follow budgets and reconcile your international service expenses.
- Attend mandatory quarterly team leader training and team meeting
