INTERNATIONAL TRIP

TRAVEL DAYS

The team will travel together from Salt Lake City to their international village and back. These legs of the trip usually involves multiple flights (both domestically and internationally), layovers, bus rides, and potentially a stay overnight in the airport city before transferring to the village.

WORK DAYS

The bulk of the trip will be spent in the village for work days. During these days, the team members will be split up on different jobs completing their committee projects. These consist of construction, comminuty health fairs, cultural exchanges, educational lessons, business development seminars, and vocational training.

The Youthlinc approach to international development is based on research and practical experience. Our goal is to help communities become self-sufficient. We help in the construction of compatible and sustainable structures for education, health, and the general well-being of the community. We offer information (in the form of lessons for people of all ages, community workshops or fairs, and professional exchanges) in basic health and hygiene, education, vocational training, and small business development and/or livestock exchange.

EXCURSIONS

We recognize that we are allowing participants into some amazing parts of the world, so before the team leaves, they will have an excursion day. This varies depending on team but can include things like a beach day in Fiji, a safari in Kenya, or visiting an elephant sanctuary in Thailand.
