ALUM LEADERS
Alum Leaders are Service Year alums who want to take their leadership to the next level as positive role models on the team. Under the direction of the Assistant Team Leader (ATL) and Team Leader, Alum Leaders work together to build team unity, develop the team’s cultural awareness, and facilitate local and international service reflections. Alum Leaders will work with mentors to help lead and facilitate committee projects.
International capstone
Alum Leaders will have the opportunity to travel to an international site for two weeks in June or July to participate in service abroad.
SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY
Alum Leaders will complete 60 hours of local service with minimally 20 hours completed at a Main Service Site. Alum Leaders will be able to count hours spent at team meetings, committee meetings, completing Impact Modules and up to 10 hours for collecting clothes for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Clothing Drive
GAIN LEADERSHIP
Alum Leaders will help facilitate committees plan and execute projects.
BUILD CULTURAL AWARENESS
Alum Leaders will help the team learn about the culture of the international site.
HELP FACILITATE REFLECTIONS
Alum Leaders will assist ATL with local service reflections and international reflections. Alum Leaders will also facilitate discussions on topics discussed in Youthlinc's Impact Modules

- Must have previously completed a Youthlinc Service Year
