2023 Young Humanitarian Application

Required Materials:
Please review the required materials in their entirety before starting the application process.
Upload Transcripts from your educational institution as proof of your enrollment at a Utah school. Transcripts are requested only as proof of enrollment. The Award recognizes service, not GPA. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted.
Create a one page resume describing your service leadership experience, community involvement, and recognition.

Please answer the following essay question in 2 pages or less. Specific examples and clear expression are more important than length.

How has serving others impacted the way you view the world? Use specific examples from your experiences to share this impact.

Chose three words that best describe your service leadership and write an essay using specific examples from your experience.
To complete your application, we must receive two letters of recommendation from people who are very familiar with your service.

Send the Recommendation Form to someone who has SUPERVISED your service activities.
The recommender must submit the Recommendation Form by March 1.

Applicants will be asked to submit a headshot, and instagram handle (if applicable)
Applicants then have the option of submitting:
- Photo and 200 word story of your most meaningful service experience
AND/OR
- 1-2 minute video talking about your most meaningful service experience.
