Though our society recognizes young people for their accomplishments in sports and academics, the Youthlinc Utah Young Humanitarian Award has been celebrating outstanding humanitarian service among youth since 2005. 

One outstanding high school student and one outstanding college student will each receive a $7,500 college scholarship. One high school student and one college student will each receive a $4,000 college scholarship. Three high school students and three college students will each receive a $1,500 college scholarship for a total of $32,000 in scholarship awards to students who are working to make a difference wherever and however they can.

Applications for the 2024 Youthlinc Utah Young Humanitarian Award will open Jan 1.

2024 Applications are due March 1.

University Union Scholarship Award

Thanks to our generous partnership with the A. Ray Olpin University Union Building, any student committed to attending the University of Utah will receive a scholarship from the University Union Student Leader Scholarship Fund.

Any finalists attending the University of Utah will receive an additional scholarship award. (Amount of the additional award will depend on the number of University finalists. Total amount Union scholarship funds is $9,000)

Effects of Service

Here at Youthlinc we know that service can have a major and lasting impact on youth. It can shape the way we see the world and direct us on our future pursuits.
