English Camp
English Camp was a lot of fun as the 27 primary school students rotated through classes and games every day. Classes were taught on a variety of tips from animals and shapes, to health and hygiene, and how blood flow through the heart. We also had a series of successful Ukulele lessons teaching the kids chords and the song “You Are My Sunshine.”
Cultural Exchange
In the afternoon the secondary school kids would join us for games and cultural exchanges.
Construction
For construction we worked hard mixing and laying cement and sod to provide safe areas for the children to gather and play. Our Alum Leader, Carter, wins the award for hardest working construction man as he jumped in and worked on construction every single day.
Sewing
For vocational we were able to provide 5 new machines to supplement the machines they already had and started a new beginning sewing class while teaching the advanced class some new patterns for backpacks, bags, skirts, and ties. The ladies sewed over 60 meters of fabric making products for the boutique on the last day.
