LOCAL SERVICE

Since Youthlinc’s inception in 1999, over 2,800 Youthlinc Service Year students have contributed more than 225,000 hours of local service throughout Utah. Last year, a total of 237 Youthlinc Service Year students and 69 Alum Leaders contributed 21,663 hours of local service throughout Utah. 

LSD

The Youthlinc Utah Local Service Directory is Utah’s only statewide resource for selecting student-friendly volunteer opportunities. This interactive online Directory allows users to find hands-on service opportunities in a positive mentoring atmosphere.

Virtual

Youthlinc@Home is a virtual community that connects high school and college-aged volunteers with elementary participants in 1-on-1 tutoring sessions and hands-on group activities.

Real Life

Real Life is an after school peer-mentoring program for under-served youth in the Salt Lake Area. Our volunteers contribute 2 hours a week tutoring and participating in hands-on activities.

PVSA

The President’s Volunteer Service Award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation. As a certifying organization, Youthlinc is able to distribute these awards on behalf of the office of the President.
