Spend two weeks abroad studying, working, and exploring along the southern slopes of the Himalayan Mountain ranges. Students will work on various sustainability projects, immerse themselves in the vibrant culture, and explore the social and economic impacts of the outdoor industry.
You will be working with ACP, a member of the World Fair Trade Organization with emphasis on sewing, weaving, screen-printing, wool spinning, and metal work on the outdoor industry.
You will also tour markets, textile production, factories, and end with a trek through Kathmandu valley and Everest view points.
Cost is $3,999. This includes flights (including from Utah), food, water, accommodation, travel insurance, trek, activities, etc. Does not include Passport/Visa and spending money.
