A LETTER FROM OUR
executive director
2022 has been a year of rebuilding and innovation; it has also been a year of growth, reflection, and resiliency.
We were grateful to be able to send ten international service teams abroad this year, as a capstone to the local service component of the Service Year. Hundreds of our volunteers, both youth and adults, served at home and abroad this year. We were also able to send out two teams from our Global Community Leadership program, a partnership program between Youthlinc and Utah State University.
We continued to provide programming for over 400 refugee and immigrant youth through Real Life with their education and life goals. We awarded $32,000 through the Young Humanitarian Award and recognized ten excellent high school and college students for their efforts in community service with college scholarships.
Youthlinc also began a new local service program, CONNECT, to provide more opportunities for groups to do service right here at home.
I am especially grateful to the Youthlinc staff, our Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders, Alum Leaders, student humanitarians, our donors and partners, and the Board of Directors, for being unshakable and motivated to continue creating lifetime humanitarians. What a joyous year it was!
I invite you to click through our 2022 Annual Report to learn about the many things we have accomplished this year, and about the plans and hope we have for the future.
