There are many scholarships which recognize students for their academic and athletic achievements. What makes the Youthlinc Utah Young Humanitarian Award unique is the recognition we offer students for the positive contributions they make within their own community.

This award celebrates young people who give back and it inspires other young people to make a difference in their community.

We are grateful to the George E and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, Robert D. Kent Jr. Trust and Michel Foundation for sponsoring this Award. We are also grateful for the A Ray Olpin University Union Building and the University Union Scholarship Fund who matched $9,000 in scholarships for University of Utah students.

'I don’t see anything more important in this life than serving others. It is very rewarding when you see others do better in their lives. Before being involved in service, I considered nothing more important than money but in reality, money won’t bring you joy and a sense of fulfillment and personal purpose”
