I’m particularly excited about the progress on our capital campaign this past year as we work toward our goal of building a new community center in Murray, Utah where we will expand Real Life refugee programming, continue to train hundreds of new humanitarians each year, and to be a resource to the local nonprofit community as a place for training, events, and community building.
As we look toward 2021, I am filled with optimism about the future. We know our communities and volunteers are eager to have more face-to-face and hands-on service opportunities. I am grateful for the work and care of the Youthlinc Board of Directors and our amazing director, Justin Powell, who are guiding the organization through this complex time and are propelling our mission of creating lifetime humanitarians forward.
