This past year, our three GCL study abroad programs had to be postponed due to the pandemic. As soon as we are able to safely travel again, we will have a group study global health in Jamaica, engineering and product design in Nepal, and genocide and identity in Vietnam and Cambodia. As we prepare for the future we are excited to expand GCL to include new partnerships within the university’s special education department, and internationally with projects in Rwanda.
We are grateful to Utah State University for this wonderful partnership and integrate high-quality academic learnign with high-quality on-the-ground experiences around the globe.
Thank you to Dr. Shannon Peterson, Dr. Scott Greenhalgh, (future) Dr. Jessica Roueche, Monika Galvydis, and Dr. Janis Boettinger for their passion, wisdom, vision, professional backgrounds, and willingness to partner in order to further our mission of creating lifetime humanitarians and to add value to Utah State University’s Office of Global Engagement.
