Service Year: Local & International
The Youthlinc Service Year curriculum is designed to engage youth actively in their local and global need community, and give them the leadership skills and experience to begin to make a difference in those needs. Students accepted into the program make a commitment to volunteer a total of 80 hours right here in Utah! Learn more about our local service requirement here!
Once accepted to the program, students attend a monthly planning meetings where they work collaboratively with team members in preparing education, community health, vocational, business, and cultural exchange projects abroad. The Youthlinc Service Year culminates when the team travels international to not only carry out their project, but to also learn from and create meaningful relationships with the villagers. You will come back a different person. But don’t take our word for it! Read participant testimonials here!
