General Orientation

General Orientation, the kick-off for our 2008-2009 program year, is Saturday, November 15, 2008 12:30pm - 5pm at the Warnock Engineering Building on the University of Utah Campus. This meeting is mandatory for all accepted students, parents of minors, and Volunteer Mentors for each team. Students on the waiting list are invited to attend, as their attendance will increase the likelihood of their acceptance into the program if spots open up.

This meeting will involve an overview of the YouthLINC program, a small Service Fair featuring local service agencies, volunteer mentor meetings by team, and international team meetings with introductions to the service site and question/answer opportunities.

Tenth Anniversary Celebratory Gala

Join us Saturday, April 18, 2009 starting at 6pm at the Salt Palace Grand Ballroom for a Youth Service Expo highlighting the 26 State-wide youth-led community based Service Projects which will be part of the Utah Youth Service Marathon.

Enjoy live entertainment from top local bands, and a silent auction with our traditional exotic items from all over the world. This year, we will feature a special section for Men Only, selected by YouthLINC men who don't like knickknacks and jewelry!

Help us celebrate our Tenth Birthday! Special retrospective displays, performances, videos, and special guests will highlight YouthLINC's first decade. If you have been part of YouthLINC history, please attend this elegant dinner and join in the festivities!

Participate in our 26 Hour Service Marathon, and attend the event for $26.
