Tenth Anniversary Celebratory Gala
culminates Service Marathon and our first decade!

Our largest crowd ever, our best party ever – Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Salt Palace Grand Ballroom, YouthLINC celebrated its Tenth Anniversary with friends and alums and a Youth Service Expo highlighting the 26 State-wide youth-led community based Service Projects which were the Utah Youth Service Marathon the largest youth service initiative in Utah history.
Our guests enjoyed top notch live entertainment (pianist Miles Crockett and the Brazilian band Jinga Boa), a silent auction with our traditional exotic items from all over the world.
Thanks to JDH Group, there were special retrospective displays – all donated. We premiered our new video, and many special guests – integral to YouthLINC history celebrated our first decade.
Much thanks goes to our alumni who turned out in force to help us celebrate, and organized tables for mini-team reunions.
132 alums joined the YouthLINC Service Marathon, doing almost 2500 hours of service in Utah since November. Together they raised or contributed $12,576.
Here are the winners of the free trip to Thailand with our 2009 Alum Trip:
Ellie Nazzal (Racer #13) raised $2525.00 and served 481.60 hours.
Lindsay Hadley had 19 racers join her race raising $1376 combined.
