Ways to Stay Involved

Volunteering in the office

  • We need help on all tasks, from office work to our microenterprise program, from the Local Service Directory to our Young Humanitarian Award.

Volunteering on the Annual Benefit committee

  • The Benefit committee plans our special event every year. There are several sub– committees including auction, program, food, and entertainment

Becoming and Alum Leader

  • All Students from any program that have completed their service year are eligible. You can apply even if you went years and years before or if you just came back from your Youthlinc international service.

  • Alum leaders receive a sponsorship and must apply in August.

Participation in our annual Service & Tourism (Alum) trip

  • Envisioned by our Alumni, Alum Trips are for everyone. You can bring your friends, and entire families have been known to go together.

  • These trips do not have a local service component to them and there are not sponsorships available like our regular programs. Yes, you can fundraise.

Participating as a Volunteer Mentor or Team Leader

  • We need professionals every year in every program to help mentor students to take on leadership roles.

  • We generally accept mentors August – October each year. Alums make great mentors!

Sponsoring a Youthlinc student

  • Sponsorships are essential to Youthlinc. Consider investing in the humanitarianism of a young person and watch as you gain a return of exponential good!

Fundraising or donating project funds

  • Youthlinc teams are always in need of funds to build schools, medical clinics, libraries. Our international sites need medical and vocational training equipment, school and medical supplies, hygiene kits and shoes.

  • Family foundations, schools, businesses, church groups can help with these fund and item drives.
